ABOUT: The Uniquely Abled Academy (UAA) is an innovative career training program designed to empower neurodiverse individuals, such as those on the autism spectrum, by preparing them for skilled employment in the manufacturing sector.
This 16-week program combines hands-on instruction in Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining with job readiness training, including soft skills development and interview preparation.
Graduates of the program often earn industry recognized certifications, such as OSHA Safety Certificates and National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) credentials, qualifying them for entry level positions like CNC operator.
