The What’s So Cool About Manufacturing® video contest is an annual program dedicated to changing the outdated perceptions and attitudes of today’s tech-savvy students, as well as their parents and educators, about careers in advanced manufacturing. Teams of middle school students, under the guidance of their teacher coach, are partnered with a local manufacturer and work together to create a 2.5-minute video showcasing “What’s So Cool?” about the manufacturer’s products, people, and careers in advanced manufacturing.
