AGENDA:
11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. Brief Tour and Overview Presentation.
12 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. Lunch & Meet-and-Greet with current and past Welding Certificate students. Manufacturers will present their businesses and job openings, and students will deliver their “elevator pitch”.
12:45-1:15 p.m. Tables will be set up in the atrium area for employers and students to continue the conversation and exchange information.
Join MACC/DC at a meet and greet opportunity at Delaware County Community College’s Advanced Technology Center (901 Media Line Road, Media, PA 19063). Meet the educators and soon-to-be graduates of a 225-hour hands-on Welding Certificate Program that prepares students for entry-level welding positions.
Students are expected to earn their certificates in December 2025. We will learn about the program, the students, and educators. Perhaps you’ll meet a future employee!
DCCC’s Welding Certificate Program delivers an introduction to welding and training in oxyfuel cutting, shielded metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding, blueprint reading and basic fabrication. These skills are in high demand and will prepare students for entry-level welding positions. The program is tuition-free through Philadelphia Good Works Job Challenge.
