Manufacturing Activity Continued to Grow in March

March 16, 2017 — Manufacturing activity in the region continued to expand in March, according to firms responding to this month’s Manufacturing Business Outlook Survey. Although the index for current manufacturing activity in the region decreased from a reading of 43.3 in February to 32.8 this month, all broad indicators remained at positive readings.
