Welding Technology, Certificate of Competency is a four-semester program. This program begins on 8/25/25. The schedule varies depending on the class. The Kelleher Connect Career Opportunity Fund offers financial assistance of up to $5,000 per semester to qualified individuals.
To qualify, you must:
- Be enrolled continuously in at least two academic courses in an eligible certificate program
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 on every course throughout your time enrolled in the program
- Complete a FAFSA for each academic year you are enrolled in the program
- Be a Delaware County or Chester County resident

WELDING TECHNOLGY, CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCY
The College will award a certificate of competency to students who complete an approved credit-bearing career program that requires less than 30 credits. General education courses may not be required for programs that have less than 30 credits. The student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher. At least six credit hours must be in courses that are awarded grade points. TOTAL CREDITS: 29
