Montgomery County is hosting ManuFest, a one day event that includes an expo of local and regional manufacturers as well as lectures from industry leaders about the high paying jobs available in manufacturing and the skills needed to obtain them. The event targets students, parents, and educators. The objective of the event is to influence those who still believe in an outdated stigma that technical skills training and jobs in manufacturing are only for those who are academically challenged and will not be successful in college.
