This event will provide an overview of the Talent Pipeline Program (TPP). The goal of the TPP is to improve the ability of Defense Industrial Base (DIB) Employers to strengthen their talent systems to run a better business and increase defense industrial capacity.
The program also aims to energize the DIB by connecting maritime focused manufacturing pipelines to address crucial trade skills gaps in maritime and defense sectors. Talent Pipeline Programs are operating in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Virginia, New York, New England, and will soon be launched in Southern California.
The Department of Defense’s (DoD) top priority program is the Columbia-Class Submarine, which will replace the Ohio-Class Submarines. The TPP is fully funded by the Navy, and the support provided by TMG is of NO COST to employers.
A participant in the Navy’s Philly TPP, Philly Shipyard is a leading U.S. shipbuilder that is presently pursuing a mix of commercial and government work. The shipbuilding facility at the Navy Yard is state-of-the-art. Philly Shipyard has earned a reputation as a preferred provider of ocean-going commercial ships.
TMG is a veteran-owned small business that provides values-driven program management services committed to continuous improvement. TMG is partnering with the Navy to introduce a best practice talent acquisition and retention model that was designed, developed, and implemented in the Virginia maritime region.
