RISE PA Grant Application Now Open to Help Small Manufacturers Cut Costs, Reduce Pollution, and Increase Competitiveness

Round 5 of the RISE PA grant program’s Small-scale Award Track is open Sept. 15 through Dec. 15 for funding to support energy efficiency and emissions reduction projects.
RISE PA is helping manufacturers lower costs and emissions, achieve strategic business goals, and boost competitiveness. PennTAP provides no-cost support that can help you complete the required technical assessment report and navigate the application process.
The PA Department of Environmental Protection has already awarded $8.5 million to 29 projects across Pennsylvania in Round 1 and Round 2 of the program
Why Apply:
- Your facility could receive 50% of the cost of a decarbonization project, up to $500,000.

Eligibility:
- You are a PA manufacturing facility with fewer than 500 full-time employees.
- Your total project cost is between $50K-$1M.
- Your project will reduce greenhouse gas emissions through electrification, efficiency improvements, low-carbon fuels, on-site renewable energy, carbon capture, or reducing fugitive emissions.
